Environmentally Safe Paints
At Kniesel’s Collision Centers, we proactively seek ways of doing business that reduce our impact on the environment. We are making significant progress by phasing out conventional solvent-based paint finishing systems, which release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the atmosphere. By introducing a low VOC waterborne basecoat system, we will reduce our basecoat-sourced VOCs by up to 80%, decreasing ozone pollution and smog."The waterborne basecoat helps us contribute to a healthier community and work environment for our employees,” said Robert Kniesel, owner of Kniesel’s Collision Centers. “This is a major technological advancement that enables us to create more precise color matches in less time than before—so we can protect our environment and continue to exceed our customers’ expectations for quality workmanship."
